Can Leicester Challenge for the Title?

Posted on December 24, 2015 at 9:34 pm

Nobody would ever have thought Leicester City would be top of the Barclays Premier League on Christmas day, but that’s certainyl the case tomorrow. It’s astonishing to think that a team who gained promotion just last year is now above the likes of Man City, Manchester united, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and well… everyone else!

Some say they don’t have the depth in their squad to maintain a push for the title, but who’s to say they can’t? Vardy and Mahrez seem to be scoring for fun, and the teams around them seem to be struggling every now and then. It’s certainly the oddest tile race for years, and from a neutral’s perspective, we can only hope that Leicester’s form continues well into 2016. Let us know what you think, can they really challenge for the league?

Liverpool fans will be loving the start Jurgen Klopp has made to his Liverpool career. Famous wins against Chelsea and Manchester City show that Liverpool are on the up, and it can only be down to one man.

Klopp has come in with the backing of the fans and the players, and it’s clear to see that they’re all behind him. Statistics show the players are pressing more, running further and scoring more goals, and there’s no doubt that Klopp has got them working harder.

Under Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool looked rough around the edges, but with creative players now getting the goals, we can only expect good things to come for Liverpool during the second half of the campaign.
