Are Treadmills An Effective Fitness Tool?

When you think about indoor fitness, such as going to the gym, the first thing that generally comes to mind is using a treadmill. But are treadmills the best way to keep fit indoors?

Treadmills are an amazing tool to use for fitness in your lower body and stamina. If you want to work on your leg muscles or stamina then a treadmill will be your best friend. Most offer a range of different speeds allowing you to go from walking to running, as well as tracking your distance. Some may even allow you to add an incline to help your body to work harder.

However, this is not the best fitness machine for all-around fitness. You will find that this does not help with your arm muscles, so you will need to find another method for this.

So keep in mind, treadmills can be extremely useful, but you may need to use other tools as well for full-body fitness.
