It is a well-publicised fact that being healthy is about eating a balanced diet and taking part in some physical activity. It is always advised that people try to do some form of physical activity like playing rugby.

Many people join a gym or take up running and swimming as part of their fitness regime however this is not for everyone. If you are contemplating how you can begin exercising, there is a greater chance of you sticking to rugby if you find it fun and compelling. By joining a local rugby team, you can make friends and keep fit. Rugby can spur you on simply because of the competitive nature of the game.

The sport is a great all-rounder because not only do you run but you jump and in turn tone your upper body as well. There are levels of skill to be reached, and competitions can be entered if you want to take it to that level.
